My Two Halloween Makeup Looks......

So I previously did a blog post on my Halloween Cat Makeup but I thought I would merge the two together in one Halloween post.

My first look was the Cat Makeup look you have already seen. In this look I used Beauty Boulevard's Glitter Lips on my eyes and lips. My makeup was done by my flat mate and good friend Lois North.

I used the colour Cocoa Loco for the cat makeup look. I felt like this was the perfect colour for the cat. Applying the glitter is simply. You just add the glue on to lips or eyes and then use a brush to slowly dab the glitter on to the glue. I love the way the look turned out but the glitter lips is so hard to get off. It took me a good few hours to be bothered to try and get it off as it was so hard.

My Second Look was my Clown look created by my good friend, Darcie Cook. This look used Beauty Boulevard's Star Dust and In Your Dreams glitter and gems. My friend Lois North also did my hair for this look.

I used Star Dust, the colour Drops of Jupiter for this look. This has a gold shimmer to it. It is so easy to apply, there is a glue inside the pack and you put that where you would like the glitter to go. Then apply the glitter over the top of it. I love how easy this was to put on. I found that the Star Dust was easier to get off than the Glitter Lips but the glitter was left all over my bed and on my face and body. It will literally get everywhere.

I absolutely love this look all round amazing, couldn't ask for anything more.

Healthy Breakfast on the Go.......

Healthy Breakfast on the Go is an edit about a fast way to pick up breakfast in the house for when you are on the go. I love to have a drink to wake me up in the morning with a light healthy breakfast bar.

Starting with the smoothies I drink I love these from B fresh, keep reading to find my cereal bar to go with it and find out my favourite smoothie. I am very particular about the smoothies I have so I normally buy freshly made ones but these are great to store in your fridge and just grab on the go.

Starting with the Golden Glow, this smoothie includes orange, turmeric, carrot and apple. Strawberry Fields has strawberry, apple, carrot, cucumber and beetroot in it. I am not a massive fan of vegetables in smoothies but these smoothies don't have a strong taste of veg and are mixed well with the fruit flavours too.

Green Warrior has spinach, apple, kale, ginger, cucumber and kale in it. Rock the Beets includes the flavours of Beetroot, spinach, apple and lemon. The texture of the smoothies are nice and smooth and not chunky like homemade smoothies. Sometimes it is nice to have something to chew in your smoothie but in a morning with a breakfast bar I think this texture is perfect.

Sweet Greens is an interesting take on a classic green smoothie. Flavours include Apple, Spinach, Lemon and Kale.

Green Glow has cucumber, spinach, iceberg romaine, kale, lemon and ginger in it. I am not a massive fan of ginger but the taste is very subtle in this smoothie and works well with the rest of the tastes coming through.

The Breakfast bars that I think are perfect for on the go are the Perkier Bars, with many different flavours to choose from you will also find the flavour you are wanting in the morning.

The Goji and Cranberry Bar tastes so good with a really strong taste of Cranberry going through it. The Cashew, Chia and Pumpkin Bar is very crisp as you can probably tell from it's ingredients. I am obsessed with coconut flavours at the moment so the Coconut and Chia is perfect to fulfil those coconut carvings.

If you really want something chocolaty this is a great supplement to be healthy. This bar has a hint of chocolate taste without being too heavy. There is a strong taste of cashew which I like as sometimes you don't want a heavy taste of nuts or a heavy crunch. The Oaty Cranberry and Cashew bar yet again doesn't have a strong texture of nuts or taste and is still quite soft. The bar is quite soft but still gives a clean cut when you bite into it.

Overall I think that the Goji and Cranberry has got to be my favour bar and the Strawberry Fields smoothie has got to be my favourite.

Pre & Post Workout Snacks........

The raw paleo bars that I eat before my workout come from The Primal Pantry. The taste of the almond and cashew bar is very nutty but nice. You can really taste the cashews throughout and they give the bar a nice crunch to them. Throughout all the bars you have a strong nut taste to them which gives a really nice crunch throughout all the bars. My favour has got to be the Coconut and Macadamia bar as I love the taste of coconut at the moment. I find the bars quite big for me to eat at once so I normally eat half the bar before my workout and half after. The Primal Pantry also have more flavours in their collection including cocoa orange, mixed berries and brazil nut and cherry. They also have an advent calendar coming out for a healthy christmas snack.

For my protein smoothie as my post workout treat I used:
1 big banana
350ml of almond milk
1 cup of yoghurt
1 cup of oats
2 tsbp of pure blend's raw cacao protein powder
2 tbsp of honey

I find this smoothie very thick and filling but great for after a workout. It is also easy to store all the ingredients in your cupboard and you don't have to worry about fruits going off too much. You can really taste the raw cacao from the Pure Blend Co protein powder coming through and gives an extra taste to the smoothie. You can also really taste the oats, I am obsessed with making this smoothie at the moment.
