Not too old to be a kid....

So after not blogging in nearly over a year. I would like to start share the exciting stuff that I am getting up to in my life. In September I moved to London to start at university and my life has been none stop since then. I have been exploring London and student life. I would like to start sharing with you guys some of the exciting stuff that goes on in London.

I recently turned 19, getting old but I have realised that you are never too old to be a big kid. This was present to me on my birthday. I started the celebrations of my birthday by going to The Table Cafe in Southwark. My boyfriend and I decided to go for brunch, The Table offers brunch all day. I endulged in a pancake with caramelised bananas, bacon and maple syrup. The pancake was massive but extremely delicious. They also serve an all day breakfast pancake which includes sausage, bacon and egg on top of the pancake. My boyfriend decided to have eggs bendict with a side order of sweet potato wedges which I had a cheeky bite of.

After the brunch, we wanted to go to Covent Garden to do a bit of shopping and to also go to the Galleria Melissa,  my friend had told me about it. The exhibition is a collaboration between Melissa, the shoe company and Jeremy Scott. The exhibition is called 'Inflatable Dreams'. The first room consists of a giant balloon insulation above some shoes and then downstairs there is a ball pit. There isn't any staff members around the ball pit watching you so you can literally have as much fun as you want which out feeling like someone is judging you. A really fun experience which is also free to get into.

Style Strut......

The February London Fashion Weekend just passed and I was lucky enough to go to the opening night on Thursday evening. I arrived and was able to get a free glass of prosecco as I arrived. I also got a free tote bag with a load of free bees in it. We then had a look round and did a bit of shopping but also we had two catwalks to go to. In these two catwalks we had front row seats which meant you could really look at the garments well. The first catwalk we went to was a designer catwalk by Amanda Wakeley. The base of the garment was white. Here are some of my favourite outfits for that catwalk.

We then went to a trend catwalk that was created but the outnet.com, this is a website where you can get heavily discounted designer products. Here are a few of my favourite garments from that catwalk too.

My Weight Loss.....

Recently I have been on a diet and workout programme. I created the diet myself and took the workout programme from personal trainers and my dance sessions. I wanted to feel better in myself and flatten my tummy out.

My diet takes part in the week, I don't eat breakfast or I have a coffee then for the rest of the day I have porridge and a juice drink. Then I can eat what I want to for dinner. The porridges can be any flavour and our really good for you as it contains energy so will get you through the day. The juice I like to drink are from coldpress, I either have a juice or a smoothie drink from them. On the weekend I can eat what I want to eat.

My workout programme consists of 4 minutes of running/jumping/jumping jacks. I then do an ab workout for 3-5 minutes. I normally do crunches, crunch pulses, bicycle kicks, plank, superman and ball sit ups. I started with crunches and ball sit ups at the start but then after that I started to build them up to do different exercises as I was getting stronger. I then very evening after my workout try to do an activity whether it is dancing or swimming. I don't do an activity on friday and saturday nights. I try to eat my dinner before I go to do these activities as then I am more likely to burn those calories off.

To keep track of everything I was doing I created a chart this has the date down the side and then at the top running, ab workout, breakfast, lunch and the weight. This means I could keep track of everything I do in the day. I normally weight myself every morning to give a better idea of how much I have loss. You should weight yourself at the same time everyday to get a good idea of how much weight you lose.

Choccywoccydoodah.....

This weekend I went to Choccywoccydoodah with some of my good friends. We were all invited to go to a private room for two hours for our friend Melissa's birthday surprise. We went to the Choccywoccydoodah in Carnaby street that is near the MAC store. We had to get there by train and tube. Her birthday was a couple of weeks ago and this was to celebrate that. We entered the room and it was like walking into Alice in Wonderland. The flooring was grass and there was a massive table to the side filled with chocolate and sweets. When Melissa arrived they then added sundaes to the table too. There was so much to eat and everything tasted amazing. Here are a couple of photos from the day. I would just like to write a little message to Melissa to say that I wish that she had a great day and didn't eat too much. I also wish you a very Happy Birthday and thank you so much for being a great friend. Love you lots.

Sparkle and Celebrate.....

We all now that New Years Eve has pasted and what better way to look back at it then to do a fashion blog. So this is what I wore for my New Years Eve party. The theme of the evening was sparkle of course. I wore this lovely velvet dress that has sparkled leopard print on it. The straps on this dress are very different and unique therefore I had to wear a strapless bra with the dress. It is also a body con dress so I wanted it tight fitting so I got it in a size four. This dress is from Topshop and I bought it from the Topshop on the Strand in London. I then paired it with some black heels from Topshop in a size four.

Here are a few pictures from the night too.
